Founding pilot · Decision Clinics

Bring the decision that’s slowing the work down.

A live, small-group working session for learning professionals facing a real project decision. We examine the evidence, pressure-test the options, and make the next move easier to defend.

  • 60 minlive working session
  • 1 + 6working seat + observers
  • 2 daysto your Decision Brief

The gap this fills

More focused than a community call. More practical than another webinar.

Decision Clinics sit between self-serve resources and consulting. The point isn’t to teach a broad topic. It’s to help one practitioner work through one difficult decision while a small group learns from the reasoning.

01

Real work

The case comes from an active project, not a polished hypothetical with a convenient answer.

02

Visible reasoning

We separate evidence from assumption, name the tradeoffs, and make the decision criteria explicit.

03

A usable next move

The working practitioner leaves with a concise Decision Brief, not a recording to interpret later.

For the pilot, requests are reviewed manually so the case, confidentiality needs, and participant mix are right. If the clinic isn’t a fit, you won’t be charged.

How the clinic works

A clear beginning, middle, and finish.

The structure keeps the session from becoming an open-ended advice call.

  1. 01PREP

    Frame the decision

The working practitioner submits the situation, evidence, constraints, and question.

  2. 02TEST

    Challenge the frame

We identify assumptions, missing evidence, and the forces shaping the decision.

  3. 03DECIDE

    Compare the options

We evaluate practical paths and make the tradeoffs visible.

  4. 04MOVE

    Define the next move

The practitioner leaves with a recommendation they can explain and act on.

Fit matters

Built for decisions, not deliverable production.

A strong fit

  • A stakeholder has already chosen the solution
  • The evidence points in competing directions
  • You need to defend scope, format, support, or measurement
  • You’re stuck between reasonable options

Not the right fit

  • You need someone to build the deliverable for you
  • You need confidential legal, HR, or employee-relations advice
  • The problem requires a full systems investigation
  • You want a portfolio or visual-design critique

Questions before requesting a seat

What to expect from the pilot.

Are clinics recorded?

No. The founding pilot is designed as a live working room. Protecting the practitioner and the project matters more than building a content library.

Can I bring confidential work?

You can describe the decision without sharing protected files or identifying information. Before the session, we’ll agree on what may be discussed with observers. Cases with strict confidentiality needs may be better suited to a private 1:1 session.

What happens after I request a seat?

Start with the free 15-minute intro option and note that you’re interested in a Decision Clinic. If the clinic is a fit, you’ll receive the available session details and payment instructions. No clinic payment is collected when you book the intro.

Is this included with The Lab or Practitioner Lab?

Not during the founding pilot. Decision Clinics are a separate live service. That keeps participation small and preserves a clear line between ongoing products and founder-led support.

Bring the real decision

Stop carrying it around alone.
