An experienced second set of eyes on the work that matters.
You do not need someone to tear your work apart. You need focused, practical feedback that helps you see what is already working and identify the changes that will make it stronger.
What you can bring
One artifact. One focused review. Clear next moves.
Bring work that is in progress or already complete. The review is designed for learning professionals who want honest direction without committing to a larger design engagement. Not sure what makes a portfolio piece strong in the first place? Start with how strong portfolios communicate design decisions.
eLearning course or prototype
Instructor-led, virtual, or blended experience
Performance-support tool or job aid
Scenario, simulation, or practice activity
Portfolio case study or featured project
Facilitator guide or participant resource
Learning tool or AI-assisted experience
How I review the work
Feedback connected to the decisions behind the design.
This is more than a visual critique. I look at whether the experience helps people practice, decide, perform, and understand what good looks like.
Does the design match the capability or performance problem it is meant to address?
Can learners practice the judgment or behavior the experience actually requires?
Is the experience clear, navigable, and appropriately demanding for its audience?
Does feedback coach improvement, and does the work reveal meaningful evidence?
Does the artifact communicate care, credibility, and intentional design?
Which changes will create the greatest improvement without rebuilding everything?
The review process
A small engagement with a clear finish line.

Questions
Know what you are getting before you begin.
Is this only for eLearning?
No. The review can cover eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, blended experiences, performance support, scenarios, portfolios, storyboards, and other learning-design artifacts.
Will you redesign or edit the artifact?
No. The Professional Design Review is a focused feedback service. You receive clear recommendations and priorities, but implementation is not included. If the artifact is a portfolio and you want design help, the Portfolio Design service may be the better fit.
What counts as one artifact?
One cohesive item or experience, such as one course, one storyboard, one facilitator guide, one job aid, or one portfolio case study. If your submission includes several separate artifacts, I will confirm the scope before the review begins.
Is the feedback confidential?
Yes. Your artifact and feedback remain private unless you explicitly give permission to share part of the work.
What if I need help beyond the review?
The review will help clarify that decision. You can make the improvements yourself, explore Portfolio Design, or discuss a larger engagement if the need extends beyond one artifact.
