Ideas about learning, told like a conversation.
Short, practical videos about the people we design for, the systems they work inside, and the assumptions learning professionals should probably question more often.
Your learners are bringing baggage. Design for it.
Learners do not arrive as blank slates. They bring anxiety, past experiences, distractions, expectations, confidence, and whatever else is happening outside the learning experience.
In the first episode, I use my own experience with anxiety to talk about what changes when we design for actual human beings instead of an imaginary perfectly focused learner.
Some ideas are better said out loud.
Perspectives gives me room to write. The podcast gives an idea room to wander. These videos sit somewhere in between: one idea, a story, and something useful to take back to the work.
I’m not here to perform being an expert. I’m here to share what I’ve learned, challenge a few defaults, and hopefully make the work a little better.

This library will grow with the channel. Each episode starts with a real problem or experience and follows it toward a practical design implication.

What anxiety, distractions, confidence, and life outside work mean for the experiences we design.
The library will expand here as new conversations are published.
